3. Prep Pain Relief

Please refer to your provider for exact dosing.


For infants under the age of 6 months:
Acetaminophen (Tylenol) 160 mg/5mL Strength 


For infants over the age of 6 months:
Ibuprofen (50mg/1.25 mL Strength) 


Homeopathic remedies:
Arnica Montana 30C 
Prepare solution by dissolving 10 pellets in 2-3 oz. of water or breast milk.  
Give 2 ml every 1-2 hours. Give every 15-30 minutes when very fussy.   

 

4. What to Bring

Blanket or swaddle (we have extras if needed)
Bottle prepped (if bottle-feeding)
Comfort item (optional)
